I found the overall value for portions served to be unbalanced. The food was ok and I think the perception that it is supposed to be wonderful affects the restaurant negatively when you enter and it is just ok and the price is far to high in relation to other restaurants that in essence probably served me better food. more

The most fun I’ve had in years. Their tasting menu is to die for. Although the foreign waiters can be irritating where locals are concerned. Nevertheless after we finally got a less pretentious Afrikaans one, we really enjoyed ourselves. There was not one thing on the tasting menu that I would not want a big plate of. Amazing! Voted top chef in Cape Town, he is beligun. the food comes in courses as tasters, a true culinary experience, the atmosphere is very chic. they have am open bakery on the road outside during the day where they sell lots of divine baked things including hand rolled butter crossiants. more
