Based on all the good reviews, I decided to give this place a try. I was sorely disappointed. The place was dingy and I was not seated promptly even though it was mostly empty. The food was mediocre, absolutely nothing special. People like it because it's one of two Middle Eastern eateries in the whole state probably. I didn't see... more

Come for the food, and don't forget to check out the market. If you are looking for some great, authentic middle eastern food, this is your place... if you are looking for a beautiful atmosphere, this one isn't for you. As others have noted, you go to Haji-baba for the food and not for the atmosphere. The schwarma is the best I've ever had and the service has always been efficient. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good Middle Eastern food. more

More like a casual cafe to the side of a well-stocked store that sells canned goods and spices, this restaurant delivers delicious shwarma, hummus,and other middle-eastern plates at bargain prices. This is plain good food offered straight up with little ambience or atmosphere. more

Fantastic little store front Middle Eastern restaurant. It is the side section of a great little Middle Eastern grocery store. 2 can have 2 large plates of food and drinks for $15, including tax. Service is good but don't expect anything fancy, just great food. more
