We recently stopped off at the Museum Inn, having visited some years ago and enjoyed a meal. Since then, we have heard rave reviews. What a shame this experience didn't match up to previous times. We now understand that there is a new owner - never has the maxim if it ain't broke been so true - while the food... more

Was passing through on a Friday night – very comfortable clean room room with good products and they allowed my dog to stay too, with dog biscuits all laid out. Pub food very good, great busy atmosphere, wine list well above average and staff could not have been nicer – more dog treats at the bar, so dog was in... more

On the whole we found this to be an excellent experience. The food was fantastic. We stayed for 2 nights. On the first night we had a magnificent meal. The roast pork was fantastic.
