So Tripadvisor said this was great, and we were on the way to LA from San Diego. Easy to get to, but you'd never know it was there without a tip. Loved this place, friendly, Great breakfast food. original menu and great prices.. I had the Banana crunch french toast!!! I didn't need syrup.. it was wonderful. good coffee and the Beach decor was fitting for the place. more

We always eat at beach Break Cafe on the drive from San Diego to LA: you can have breakfast at any time but the lunches are spectacular too- huge bowls of soup, the fresh, spicy fish tacos, the fabulous sandwiches. You can easily see the workers in the kitchen chopping fresh ingredients and they are generous with the avocadoes and... more

Great food, great service, worth the wait for their breakfasts. You should try the banana crunch French toast, it was decedent . When in Oceanside this should be on your list of places to vist. more

Four words-- Banana Crunch French Toast Any time I'm in the San Diego area, the highlight of my trip is visiting the Beach Break Cafe. The food is excellent, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is great. Don't miss out on having breakfast at this gem. more

Every time my wife and I go here, we try a different plate. Each one is better than the last. The "cooks breakfast" is great. So are the pancakes and French toast - straight and with blueberries or banana nut. All the egg dishes (scrambles and omelets) are wonderful. But the coffee cake!!! The COFFEE CAKE is to die for!!!... more
