Had an early dinner at Comme Ca and things were fabulous. Appetizers were excellent (french onion soup and smoked salmon galette) and my beef stroganoff was awesome. I was in love with the Pomme Puree that came with Greg's braised short ribs. I can tell that if the place was packed the noise level would be horrible. Go early! more

Stay away from this new trendy bistro in West Hollywood. The atmosphere is chaotic and disorganized, and the noise level is so deafening that you must literally shout to be heard. We went with another couple and it was impossible to hold a conversation at the table that all four could participate in. We had an 8:15 reservation but weren't... more

fabulous food--but the Times had it right when they said the noise level was like sticking knives in your ears...apparently that's been improved now, so i'll have to try again. more
