This was by far our favorite activity we did in Costa Rica. The combination of repelling, hiking and sliding through a stream as it goes through the canjon, and the beautiful scenery made for a great day. Guides were fun and helpful. Loved it!

I bought my whole Costa Rican vacations with Desafío. I spent 9 days in Costa Rica visiting La Fortuna, Monteverde and Sámara beach.
Desafío arranged everything, from hotels, transportation and on-site activities for me. Greg (the sales person) was very receptive of our needs, and proposed different activities and hotel alternatives, he was very fast responding my emails and very professional.
Desafio also provided directly most of the activities in La fortuna: rafting, canyoneering, lava sight seeing... all the tours were really great!! transportation was good and on time, guides were funny and professional, security measures were top priorities, and I had "serious fun" (as they call it!)..
I highly recommend these guys for your vacations in Costa Rica...

Great vacation with our 10 and 12 year old kids. White water rafting, canyoneering, and hiking in the volcano region. All of the guides with Desafio were just incredible. They told us about the area, the animals, the trees and made sure that the kids were having a great time. Safety always came first, these guides love what they do and want you to have as much fun as they do. We would do it again in a heartbeat. Muchas gracias Didier, Esteban, Alejandra, and Jose!

The whole crew made our white water rafting trip a fun adventure. Our raft had our family of 4 (2 teens) and a guide. He skillfully got us through the rapids and was playful (swinging on ropes and jumping out of our raft when it was calm) . He and the kayaker were very social - chatting with us in our van ride - and really seemed to love their jobs.

Fresh fruit was served when we got out of the river.

Then after a short ride, we stopped for a delicious lunch and were able to change out of our wet clothes before returning to LaFortuna
