While this is not the grandest InterContinental Hotel in the world, it certainly is a high quality South American property. The service was up to Intercontintenal standards. My Club Floor room was clean and comfortable. The bell captains and front desk were kind, attentive, helpful and spoke good english. On a price/value relationship with regards to other InterContinental properties, I would rate Buenos Aries as very good. It may not match Paris, but it costs as fifth as much. It is certainly an upgrade over the NYC Intercontinental at any price level.
I found the criticism of this property to be unfair. I am discriminating and I found this property to be well kept, clean and updated with plasma tv's and all other expected technology available in its class.
