This hotel is in a great location - close to Santa Fe and you can walk pretty much everywhere. Cabs are also very cheap, so it's only a US$3 ride to most other places that tourists would like to visit.
The rooms are small and a little tired. It seems that the room we had the bathroom had been renovated but not the rest of the room. Keep in mind that this is a very old building, old elevators, old hallways etc so don't think otherwise.
The bed was ok (two king singles pushed together). The decor is quite old but everything was clean, and for the price (I paid US$80 through the hotel directly) you can't complain too much.
I would warn people to make sure they take some bottled water as there is no mini-bar - they provide plastic cups in the bathroom but you'd have to be prepared to drink the tap water.
The room was not cold (considering how cold the temperature was outside!) and overall I think this is a good place to stay if you want something central at a cheap price. The price also includes a continental breakie.
