My husband and I booked a day at this estancia and it was one of the highlights of our whole trip.
We were picked up for $115 round trip (and we able to share a ride with another couple) and spent $80 per person for a wonderful day of riding and great food in the countryside.
The day started with a light breakfast and then we were paired up with our horses according to skill level. There were 8 of us total plus two guides. Those who felt comfortable galloping were with one guide and the others walked. We toured the property and had a great time on the incredibly well trained horses (these are not the mangy stubborn mounts you may be used to from your average touristy trail ride).
Lunch was a feast - drinks and appetizers followed by meat, meat and more meat, and then a sumptious dessert. After that we had an hour to rest and wander the prooperty before mounting up for another amazing afternoon ride.
After the end of a long day we returned for a farewell drink and drive back to the city. It was perfect and I would absolutely reccomend this as a part of your Buenos Aires experience. Even if you aren't that experienced of a rider you will be fine. My husband has only ridden a few times and was galloping by the afternoon.
The guides were friendly, the horses were wonderful, the food was amazing - it was a perfect day with the gauchos.
