We stayed for 5 days in the middle of January, 2008.
The hotel is a recently completely remodeled architecturally interesting structure from the early 1900's with only 11 rooms.
The interior design work was Argentine modern and quite stunning and well thought out. Additionally each room has been themed after a famous person from the Argentine recent past.
There is a new elevator and a hot tub with sundeck on the roof.
The location is quite convenient in the Old Palermo District and within walking distance of all the shops, restaurants and night life. The hotel however is very quiet.
The rooms as well as the bathrooms are medium size and were very clean. While the cost of the rooms is not low, compared to other hotels we stayed with in Buenos Aires, it was a good value.
The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. This included a generous breakfast served in accordance with a form filled out upon arrival and an attentive front desk which was staffed 24/7.
There even was a guard at the front door, although I could see no reason for such. Especially since no other building or hotel in the whole area had a guard.
Clearly the best choice for the Palermo section of B.A..
