A very nice place located really close to the town of Puerto Iguasu. The owner and staff were really nice and helpful and the B&B was clean and very cute. We had a great time here and would definitely recommend staying here.

Iguazu, as the Secret Garden's owner John, will tell you, 'is a border town with nothing much in it' - but that does not stop him from taking you on an introductory spin through the town, all the while pointing out where to eat (and what to avoid), where to catch the bus to the Falls, and the inadvisability of swimming across the river to Brazil! John and his staff of 3 take a personal interest in their guests and do so with genuine kindness and professionalism. His small, tidy B&B was an oasis to come back to at the end of a long day of trekking around the park and, as many have mentioned previously, the fantastic fresh drinks and tapas served nightly on the terrace were a delightful bonus and a great way to meet and relate to fellow travelers. John's innate sense of hospitality (for example, he makes his own jams - at the time we sampled 4 different kinds, each one tastier than the last) made for a perfect 2 days in Iguazu. I can't recommend the Secret Garden enough! Thank You John!

The place is nice, tidy and cossy. We love John friendly disposition to help us and share with us his interesting stories. So far it has been the best place for meet other people thank to John´s fantastic idea of 7 pm drinks where every one share a deliciuos caipiriña and great tapas.

The room was amplious, very clean and warm. The breakfast delicious (thank señora Maria) fresh juice, fruit salad, four different type of jam, toasts (as many as you want) and a beautiful (really) coffee with milk.
A great experience, highly recommended. John looked after us very well, providing valuable information regarding, taxi rides, access to the parks and stuff like that proving to be the best information because we later discovered that our friendly driver receive commission for taking turists to restaurant and every single park on the area. We did not mind beacuse he was friendly, safe and the places he took us were fantastic.

What to add to everyone's superlative reviews.... It is all true. John was very much the host with a smile and offer of help whenever he saw you. It was clean and comfortable, with the quietest air conditioning unit ever. Breakfast was simple and delicious. Cocktail hour was delightful with an opportunity to review the day with the other guests. We met folks from Holland, Australia, and the US in the couple of nights we were there. It is located on a quiet residential street, close to the bus stop for the falls, with a mercado on the corner. There are fun restaurants within walking distance and an awesome park that easily can take 2 days to see.
We then spent 5 days in BA in a Sheraton on the club level floor with TV, full breakfast, happy hours and tea and desserts.
But my 15 year old son, when questioned, declared the high point of his Argentina vacation was the stay at John's place in Iguazu. (where there was no TV, no view, simple food) because of the people we met.
That is how special this B&B is, even a teen ager recognizes it!
