I needed to get some rest after a long drive and looked forward to turning in early. You will not get any rest in this hotel! The pool is in the center of the hotel, the screaming was so loud, it could be heard by the person I was speaking with on my cell phone!

This is definately not a hotel for business professionals. I stay in Homewood all the time, I am a gold member, so I know the quality I have come to expect. I was taken aback when I checked in by a card I was given that said, high capacity warning. It went on to explain I should get to breakfast early! Since this is my first nite, also, my last, I am not sure if that means they will just run out of food and tough luck or what.

Instead of getting the rest I needed in order to participate in the meetings I have tomorrow, I am writing a hotel review!

This hotel in my opinion is outdated and worn looking. Certainly not the quality I expect from a Hilton.

This hotel is wonderful, and we would definitely stay there again. We arrived early in the day and tried to check in early. Our room wasn't ready but the front desk worker offered to register us and call us on our cell phone when the room was ready. We took a short walk over to Wonder Works and Pointe Orlando, and as promised we were contacted once the room was ready. The room was very suitable and we enjoyed having a separate living area and kitchen. The beds were so comfortable!! We enjoyed the breakfasts each morning, and several of the Welcome Home Receptions in the evening. We did have a room overlooking the pool, which could be quite noisy in the evening. The pool and whirlpool were fine for a quick dip. There isn't much deck space, but we weren't there to sunbath. After long days at the parks, this was a great hotel to come back to & relax!

stayed two wks here in july as part of our honeymoon.
staff were friendly, room was more than adequate..kitchen, bathroom, seperate bathroom-sink in the main room. two tv's, massive fridge..all good.had to pay for the safe which annoyed me, it was only $1:50 a day however...but i always wondered how they knew i used it...chambermaid maybe.

breakfast was a great to begin with, but novitily soon wore off as u need to be down very early..p.s its unreal how much sweet stuff the americans eat at breakfast!!

hotel is behind bahama breeze, which is a tasty place to eat.
if visiting florida get a rented car, a real must.
shop in walmart, its about two miles up the road, and stock your massive fridge with coke and beer and water.
visit all the parks and water parks, go in the eve when the wains(children)). went to bush garens a day, it was great, poorly signposted though.
all in all id visit orlando every year if i could and id stay at this hotel again.

We booked this hotel through a package from Travel City Direct and were absolutely blown away. Located on International Drive (closer to Wonderworks than the Convention Centre) it's a bit back from the road and nice and quiet. If you're looking for it on Google Maps Street View you won't see it (this worried me before I went) - the best thing to do is find Howl At The Moon on International Drive - 8700 or so. It's just behind there.

The rooms - one main living room with a kitchenette (the fridge was huge!), a seperate bedroom and a bathroom - were clean, spacious and always well looked after. The maid even stopped completely redressing my bed every day after I left her a note asking not to.

The hotel pool is very small and is surrounded on all sides by the tall (at least four stories) hotel block so if you want to sunbathe there you'll need to move around the sides. Truth be told though the Homewood Suites' pool - and every other pool in Orlando - cannot compete with Disney's waterparks so I haven't marked it down for this.

The hotel serves breakfast from 7 till 10 (at 10 they are still putting fresh food out) and this is nice if you don't want to go out to the Ponderosa, Golden Corral or any of the other places. The staff are really polite and friendly - we didn't encounter anyone having a bad day on our entire stay.

We had a great stay at the hotel and would definitely say it deserves its spot on the top 10 hotels in Orlando.
