My employer booked this hotel for me during a weeklong assignment in the area. Check-in was exceptionally quick and simple. I found the room to be very clean and nicely appointed with a very comfortable bed. The front desk staff are very professional and are all extremely friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, the hotel does not provide complimentary wireless access but is more than willing to charge $9.95/day to your room for limited connectivity. As well, there is only the most basic cable service provided; I found it disappointing a pizzeria down the street offered personal flatscreen televisions with remotes and 90-plus channels to choose from while I was eating a $8 pizza while my room cost $129/day and only offered the most minimal of options. I can only assume hotel management has done so in an effort to drive their pay-per-view sales.
There is a complimentary breakfast served in the hotel atrium. I appreciated the variety of food, but was frustrated that there was absolutely no variety of choices day to day; other hotels I have frequented offer changing menu options, but this is not the case at this particular location. As well, I found it rather annoying that the hotel insists on requiring the omelet chef to dole out the pre-made scrambled eggs, hash browns, and bacon or sausage. To say that the omelet chef's personality is rather brusque would be an understatement. While the food was consistently prepared, I found myself dreading asking the chef for my scrambled eggs because I always felt like it was an imposition.
Parking at this hotel is at a premium. In the evenings, there are few spaces remaining in closer proximity to the front door. Keycard access is required to avoid walking to the main entrance.
The housekeeping staff is to be complimented for ensuring the entire site is exceptionally clean and neat. I had some concerns regarding the breakfast area after reading reviews here, but observed a staffer working to ensure tables were cleaned and ready for later guests.
All in all, I would absolutely stay at this hotel again. I would just make sure I brought something to occupy my time in the evenings, for the limited television options drove me away from the very comfortable surroundings inside the room.
