I recently stayed at this property while attending a conference at the Marriott World Center in Orlando. The Marriott was booked solid so I decided to stay here since it was nearby.

This hotel is very clean and quiet. It's located just south of Sea World and the Orlando Convention Center, and it's only a 10 minute ride to Disney. The central location is great for business travelers as there is good dining options nearby, but a rental car is definitely necessary.

The room was comfortable and fairly good size. The pool was decent size and looked nice, but I didn't have a chance to use it. I was able to convince the hotel to waive the $8 "resort fee" for my two nights with minimal effort which tells me they value their customers.

Considering that the cost of 2 nights was less than 1 night at the Marriott, I was extremely pleased with this hotel.

Stay here. This is where you want to stay. Everything else is not as good.

If you are looking for a small, nice clean hotel off the beaten path then this is for you. Uncrowded and very kind front desk staff. Found it very clean, very quiet....great place for an overnight stay if you are visiting Sea World. Our family of 5 stayed for 5 nights.
The negatives...to call this a resort is really stretching it. It is very small. Has one tiny restaurant and nothing really surrounding it except for some new construction projects going on. Far enough from the hub-bub on I-drive but not real close to anything else. A car is absolutely must have. This resort (like many others in Orlando) tacks on an $8 per day mandatory resort fee that is not included in the rate you book. From what we could tell this includes two bottles of water and a newspaper in the room (whether you want it or not). This insults me (as I'm sure most travelers feel they are getting the shaft ). If this is mandatory it should be included in their rates.
No other complaints, provided clean place to sleep after long days in the park.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza on December 25 & 26 2007. It is so beautiful and clean. The service was very good and the grounds are beautiful. The only 2 little things that we did not like was the maid that cleaned our room did a very poor job, she did the bed and that was it. The other was we had breakfast at the hotel and my wifes eggs toast and bacon were cold and my omelette had only one of the three ingredients that I requested.

That being said we would deffinetly recommend this hotel. It is a nice location only about ten minutes from Disney World.
