This was our first stay in a B & B and I was nervous that the people would be weird or would want to be in our business the whole time. I was wrong! Dennis and David were there to help us if we needed it, but for the most part they stayed in the background and let us enjoy our stay. We stayed in the Mountain View Room and it was wonderful. It was big, clean, and comfortable. There was a nice jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and the decor was very tasteful. The linens and towels were high quality and the bed was very comfortable. There was also a small private balcony with a pretty mountain view. I was concerned about not having a TV in the room but we didn't even need it. The surroundings were great including the view. In the mornings we sat at a table close to a window and watched as 4 or 5 different species of birds fed off the birdfeeder. It was so interesting and fun watching them fight over rights to the feeder. The breakfasts were delicious and creative and the tables were separated so we didn't feel obligated to carry conversations with other guests, although the ones we ran into were very nice. There was an extensive dvd collection and a TV in the common area that could be watched, though we didn't. We did check out a game from their collection available to guests and had fun with that. As far as the town goes, it was quaint but small and about a half a day was enough to see everything there. I would reccomend this B & B for a romantic getaway or just a little retreat from everyday life. We went for our anniversary and will be back when we can get the time.
