We have stayed here twice. Rooms and beds are comfy. Very Romantic place. German Apple pancakes are to die for.

We had a wonderful, relaxing, and peaceful time. The Inn went above and beyond what we had expected based on photos from their website. We stayed in there Parlor Suite which was warm, clean and very comfortable. At first I was unsure about not having a TV in the room but we didn't even miss it as we enjoyed our time together. They have a nice hot tub outdoors as well as a Jacuzzi in our suite. David and Dennis were great hosts and knew the area well as they gave us great restaurant recommendations and even mapped us out a trip to see some of the area water falls. We'll definitely be back, this time with our friends!

We love the bed and breakfast experience and this trip for our 26th anniversary was one of the best ever. The inn is amazingly luxurious and homey at the same time. David and Dennis are incredibly friendly and helpful, but without being intrusive at all. The place was booked full, but many times we felt like we were there by ourselves, and throughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. The breakfasts are outstanding. We will be back!

We just returned from a two-night stay at Mountain Laurel and it was fantastic in every way. We enjoyed a couple's massage on the first afternoon and loved just walking around the grounds (which were still nice even though the recent freeze zapped a lot of their plants). The rooms are beautifully decorated and so comfortable! Dennis and David have all of the details just right, from wine glasses and corkscrew in the room to lovely pottery coffee mugs. The sheets were wonderful (we bought a set). I can't rave enough--I've stayed in many B&B's and this one is right up there. Oh, yeah, and the food was great! We will be back. We also liked Dahlonega, great little town with fun restaurants and shops. Also loved the outlet mall in Dawsonville.
