“Nice Rooms...Crappy Comps!”

Harrahs has nice big rooms, including a pretty good size bathroom. Very easily fits 4 people comfortable. Played there allweek with severalfriends using the same card, and only received like $11.00 for room comps...no buffets, shirt, nada! The Hotel staff was friendly, and the waitresses always were there with the drinks while we played. The Spa was nice and clean also. They give you a pretty good deal on the rooms after you gamble, but don't expect much of a discount while you're there gambling at the endof your stay.

“Clean rooms”

My family visited from the east coast and we booked 2 rooms at Harrah's on-line about 3 months in advance. The prices were great and the rooms were way above average. They looked as though they'd been recently remodeled w/ updated bedding, etc. I have 3 complaints: 1) the loooong walk from elevator to our rooms (minor, I know) 2) the nasty breakfast at the cafe (instant, runny eggs.....disgusting & pricey!) 3) Rooms weren't ready when we got there and they weren't promised until between 4pm & 6pm. We had to check our bags with bellhop so couldn't use the pool or change our clothes....had 7pm show to attend too. Room was ready at 5:45pm....what a rush to get freshened up to get to show on time!!! All-in-all, stay was good and will stay there again.

“Great strip location”

Harrah's is a good hotel for the money with a terrific location center strip. The Carnival Court outdoor lounge is really fun and part of the reason we chose this hotel.

We checked in to discover water leaking from the roof of our bathroom. When maintenance was slow to respond, we returned to the lobby with our bags and requested another room. We were cheerfully accomodated, but were not compensated in any way for the hassle.

WARNING: Anticipate plumbing issues. While our replacement room had no leaks (at first), the toilet later began shooting water (with some force) from the water tank whenever flushed, soaking the shower curtain and floor. The problem was fixed, but two such issues in as many days and rooms was a bit much. Nice showers, but they don't drain well. You'll be standing in 5" of water by the time you're done.

The Improv Comedy show is great and inexpensive as Vegas shows go. I'd highly recommend it.

The pool area is clean, but it's just a pool. If you're looking for someplace with an upscale or unique swimming area, this isn't it.

We never ate in any of the restaurants, but found the Starbucks in the lobby extremely slow. It's very difficult to get a cup of coffee in Vegas in the morning!

“Again a good stay at Harrah's”

We spent a week at Harrah's (July 29 to August 5, 2008). The room was clean and large, the room cleaning service was timely but unobtrusive. The Hotel facilities are generally good - with the exception of the Cafe with slow service and tired decor. Location of the Hotel is excellent - on the most vibrant part of the strip - I only wish there was a drugstore close ! Overall we were satisfied with our stay at Harrah's and plan to go back if we get a good deal.

“Ok Hotel”

Stayed at Harrah's for 4 nights Aug. 3-7. Beds very comfortable just wish the rooms were more sound proof. Very thin walls could hear noises all the time. Rooms clean and nice and water pressure in shower excellent. As for the casino, it's nice but machines very tight. In fact I thought all of Las Vegas was tight and very expensive! I will not be traveling to Vegas for a very long time. Food and drinks outrageously priced and as for the free drinks while gambling the coctail waitresses are far and few between these days unless you are a high roller which I am not. We were in Vegas 3 years ago and cannot believe how expensive it has gotten. All in all Harrahs is ok for the right price. Would I stay there again, yes if I could get a free trip because I do not want to pay for another trip to Vegas and than pay the high prices of food and drinks. Good luck to all who go, you will need it!
