I've just come back from a 3 week visit to America stopping off at LA, San Francisco and of course Vegas!
We saw many things on our holiday including the Grand Canyon, Hollywood, the Golden Gate Bridge to name a few but the moment I will always remember was seeing the Bellagio Fountains dance to Time To Say Goodbye.
It was 8.50pm on our last night in Vegas and we had just come out of watching Phantom at the Venician. We dashed through people and traffic on the strip to get to the fountain show for 9pm. At this point I didn't know what the performance would be or how much it would touch me.
The show started and I began to get goosebumps and as it went on I felt tears in my eyes. It truly was an unbelievable sight. There was an elderly couple stood next to us, arm in arm in their mid 80's that makes me smile every time I think of them and the foutains.
I have watched it again a few times on Youtube and while it still gets me, nothing can actually match the feeling of being there and seeing it for real.
There are other performaces (every 15mins in the evenings) but try to catch this one... By far the best!
