We had a large group of family in for a wedding. The hotel put everyone together on one floor like we requested. The rooms were very nice and had a small refrigerator and microwave (great for leftovers)! When we found out that the minister was not able to make it to the wedding I went to the front desk and asked if I could look through the phone book for a minister. Steve, the manager who was working at the time volunteered to try to find a minister for us. We were so grateful we invited him to the wedding! At the wedding my sister ran out of diapers and Steve, again, volunteered to help us out. What a great guy! I highly recommend this hotel, not only for the exceptional customer service, but also because it's so close to Opryland Hotel, Grand Old Opry, General Jackson, etc. Why pay $260/night plus $17/day for parking at the Opryland Hotel when you can stay at Guesthouse for less than half the price?

My husband and I recently stayed here when we took our daughter to move into Vanderbilt U which is very nearby. The rooms are basic, very clean and quiet at a decent price relative to the other hotels in the immediate area. Our only complaint was that the mattress was very hard with no cushioning at all. We both had aching backs the next day. For this reason only, it is not likely we will stay again. In fact, I have a reservation for the upcoming family weekend but I'm looking for another option. Too bad because the price is good if you're looking for a decent place to stay, not a resort. The free covered parking and free shuttle to the school were plusses since the other chains in the area (Marriott, Loew's) charge $20+ for parking and their room rates are higher. The free breakfast bar is ordinary but the made-to-order fresh waffles are a nice plus. One other small gripe...there is no facility to print boarding passes, a necessity if you're flying Southwest. The front desk told me to go to Kinkos, a short drive away even though they have a computer and printer in the room behind the desk. This is not a large hotel and the desk person was otherwise just sitting there. But it was clear they were following the hotel policy.

We spent a few days here with a goup of people and were very satisfied with the accomodations.
The location is central to MANY attractions and restaurants, and many of them were within walking distance.
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were roomy and clean, and the security from the parking lot was good.
I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Guesthouse International. The staff couldn't do enough for you and were so friendly. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The breakfast had a good choice of meals. The pool and hot tub were well maintained with fresh towels supplied. Car parking space was plentiful and there was even a lift to the covered parking area.
We would recommend the hotel to anyone wishing for a qood quality stay with free shuttle bus to Opryland , the airport and even downtown. Try it, you won't be disapointed.
