The Luana is a comfortable, well maintained Inn, with beautiful scenery and great breakfasts. It is tucked away about 3 miles down a narrow winding road in the middle of coffee country--close to snorkeling, hiking, nice beaches, and diving--and a comfortable distance away from the commercial area of Kona. The Luana supplied anything we could need--from styrofoam coolers for picnics, to beach towels and mats, to flashlights for late night hikes. We stayed in one of the larger rooms, and had room for the Inn to put up an air mattress for our daughter. The owners also provided a wealth of information on local attractions, good restaurants, and places to shop for necessities and souvenirs. This was a great place to get away from it all in comfortable, beautiful surroundings.
