Our in-laws took us on vacation to Maui. They aren't advanced hikers so we arranged a hike for them with Hike Maui. At 60 and 62 respectively they were guided down a ravine to a waterfall and amazed themselves with such an accomplishment. They said their tour guide was very attentive and watched carefully to avoid falls. The special shoes were key. We took off on our own adventures with the Maui Trailblazer guidebook since we wanted more of a challenge and mixed it up with some waveplay at D.T. Flemming Beach. There's something for everyone on Maui and I would recommend this organization for beginners or those timid to get out independently.

We booked a trip with hikemaui , it was the best hike I have ever been on. Our guide Alex was the best we have ever had. The area which we hiked was breathtaking.

My husband and I participated in an all-day waterfall/rainforest hike in Maui Hawaii with "Hike Maui" in March of 2008. It was BY FAR the best experience we brought back with us from our trip. Our guide was VERY knowledgable, kind and fun!! Everything was very well organized, there wasn't any supplies that we needed that weren't provided, and the food was great. Our guide (Ray) was in no rush, and went above and beyond to make our day special and to make sure we experienced the beauty to it's fullest. We would highly recommend this excursion to anyone who visits Maui!!

This e-mail is late in coming but I just came across the "HIKE MAUI"
card today and felt I should write. My nearly 7 month pregnant wife and I went on a hike in April with Alex Buttaro as the guide and I must say he was first rate in every respect. He was a lot of help with my wife, a little large at the time, assuring her safety over any tricky
parts of the trail. His knowledge of the land, animals, and flora
was extensive and he tried to engage everyone in the small group as much as possible.
