There aren't enough good things to say about this place. From the beautifully apointed rooms, to the pool, to the grill and fridge outside, to sherry, all the things you could hope for are here. We stayed in the White Ginger Suite. I highly recommend the upgrade to this suite, it was beautiful. Read all of the other comments for a better breakdown. Thanks for a beautiful honeymoon Sherry!

“Very Romantic and Beautiful”

Our stay at the Aloha Pualani was just amazing. It was our 10 year anniversary and it was just perfect for what we wanted--a small, intimate place to stay that would provide us with a great pool, short walk to the beach, amazing scenery, all of the service of a fabulous hotel, and the intimacy of a private villa. We never had to share the pool with anyone else during our stay, and we felt like the resort was our own private paradise. Our room was just beautiful--amazingly decorated, spacious, and full of amenities. It was convenient to have the laundry available as well as the travel books--we used the audio tour of the road to Hana. If we come back to Maui we will stay here again no question.

“Honeymooners...Be smart and book this place!!!”

Planning a honeymoon on Maui? Take note!

This is a small 6 apartment complex off Kihei Rd. It is not on the strip; you need to drive about 10 minutes to reach Kalama Beach and the 3 K beaches, where the action is. You will hear the faint sound of cars off in the distance when you sit outside; you will not hear them in the condo.

The location is fabulous! You will feel like a wealthy resident. The website photos do not do this place justice!

We rented the Bamboo Suite. Downstairs is a kitchen area, a living room, and a lavette. Upstairs is the bedroom and a large bathroom. There is a great deck upstairs with comfortable bamboo furniture, including a bamboo mat/rug. You can see the ocean when you stand on the deck. There is a second small deck overlooking the salt water pool (the kind where you can open sliders but can’t step out).

The décor, bed, linens were fabulous. The pool area is amazing. I will leave it at that.

We have stayed in Kaanapali before (visited again this trip) and we visited the Wailea resort area on this trip. Do not stay in the resort areas—book this place instead!! If you visit the resort areas in the evening you will see that I am right.

Be sure to go to Maluaka Beach, the Maui Prince is on part of it. It is a beautiful public beach with a public parking lot and restrooms.

OK…so are you listening honeymooners? Book the Aloha Pualani. With the money that you save you can stay longer or Maui or add another island to your itinerary. (I highly recommend Kauai).

When I returned home I discovered that the Aloha Pualani is featured in this month’s Conde Nast magazine. I was not in the least surprised.

We spent our Honeymoon here for 9 days in the White Ginger Suite. The pictures online do not do justice for this property. It is incredibly beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful stay in Kihei. There were plenty of restaurants & shopping malls close by and things to do but we stayed close by the hotel and relaxed on our lanai overlooking the ocean and listening to the waves crash on shore. The hotel swimming pool was also very refreshing and treated with salt instead of chemicals, which was really cool. The room was beautiful and very clean. The staff in all was very nice and friendly. They made you feel at home and attended to any needs you may have had. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Our friends stayed at the Sheraton in Lahaina and our place was much nicer than theirs and we had a full kitchen. We would definately return to this boutique hotel and will recommend it to our friends. We got married on a beach called Makena Cove or Secret Beach which was absolutely amazing and a must see for anyone visiting this area.

“BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL, when can I move in??”

Upon arriving we were completely blown away by this place! The pictures online are fantastic but they still do it no justice. We stayed during the week of our wedding and had 4 of the 6 rooms booked with freinds and family. My husband and I stayed in the Orchid Suite and our friends had the Bamboo, Gardenia, and Lotus suites. They are all very nice.

We used the outdoor grill almost every night. There is also an outdoor fridge (filled with condiments) and an ice maker which came in handy when mixing drinks.

They have a saline pool and a lot of water toys available to use (boogie boards, blow up floats, snorkeling gear) and there's even beach chairs. There are two full sized washer and dryers with detergent provided. There is a book exchange in the laundry room (take one leave one) in case you forgot one or just wanted something different to read. The beach is just a few steps away across the road. People driving are usually pretty friendly and will stop to let you cross.

The owner Sherry is really nice and so are the ladies that come by to clean, this place is so wonderful and very well run.

I can't wait to go back! Mahalo!
