“Great snorkeling experience”

Trilogy

Aug 21, 2008

Went on the Trilogy Molokini trip on Saturday, August 9th. The only complaint I have is that they booked too many people and when we got there the boat was completely full and we had to wait for that boat to leave and for them to bring another boat. We lucked out and got a bigger boat with less people but it was a horrible experience to stand on shore and look at a boat full of people getting ready to leave and not knowing what was going on. There was no crew member there to tell us the situation so I was left thinking - "I just paid $260 to stand here, what is going on??!" We finally boarded our boat around 8:30 and we were on our way. The rest of the trip was great. We went to Molokini and the snorkeling was great. The crew members were really good with our 6 year old son. They taught him how to snorkel and were encouraging. The best part of Molokini was when one of the crew members spotted a reef shark and pointed it out to our son. After an hour at Molokini we left for "Turtle Town". The water was a little choppier at this snorkel site but it was doable. We saw turtles! After snorkeling they served lunch - teriyaki chicken, rice, salad, rolls. We then left for the marina. On the way back they put up the sails and sailed back. They also served vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. Nice day!

Trilogy Sunset was one of the highlights of our trip! The weather was not perfect, but the crew made up for it. Worth the money. We'd go again--even if it rains!

“Wonderful Lanai Sunset Sail with Trilogy!”

We visited Maui in July 2008. We took the Lanai Sunset cruise out of Lahaina which departed at 10 a.m. and returned at 7 p.m. Our experience with Trilogy was fantastic. The crew was attentive to our every need. They brought us food and drink throughout our day with them. We enjoyed cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, deli meat wraps and a freshly-cooked barbecue chicken meal. All of the food was very good.

What I loved about this excursion is that the crew also kept a very watchful eye on us during the snorkeling part of the trip. It gave me such a comfort level to know that we had several "lifeguards" watching over us!

We sailed back to Lahaina on our return. One of the crew members played the ukelele and sang too.

Our day with Trilogy was a memorable one and I highly recommend an excursion with them.

“Very fun!”

Trilogy

Aug 5, 2008

My husband and I had the best time with the Trilogy Sunrise sail to Lanai on 8/1/08 with the crew - they were very friendly, informative and served us cinnamon rolls and plenty of fluids to keep us hydrated. The trip over was very smooth and dolphins were aplenty - bottlenose and spinners as well. While on Lanai, we enjoyed an informative tour of the small island and had a wonderful local lady guide. The time spent snorkeling was great - lots of fish but with some strong currents. Our BBQ meal of chicken, yakisoba noodles and salad was delicious. Our trip home included ice cream sundaes and some sailing. Overall, we were very happy with our booking - even got 25% off for being Kamaaina from Oahu- you have to have Hawaii DL!! Highly recommend them but was a bit of a long day. Didn't get back to Wailea until the evening.

“Great food and crew, oh and the snorkeling is fun too”

Went on the Molokini trip July 25th, the 6:30 am one. Its well worth getting out early, you will be up anyway and then you can also enjoy the afternoon. We saw the later boat and it was packed. They serve the best cinnamon buns in the morning with coffee and then a great lunch in the afternoon too, we had teriyali chicken, rice, salad, buns and icecream for desert. The crew was great, really friendly and knowledgable. I've snorkeled better places but the water is super warm and there was enough to see. They stop about an hour at Molokini and then an hour closer to the shore for the turtles. All in all its a great morning, you are back by 1:00 to enjoy the rest of the day.
