Went on the Trilogy Molokini trip on Saturday, August 9th. The only complaint I have is that they booked too many people and when we got there the boat was completely full and we had to wait for that boat to leave and for them to bring another boat. We lucked out and got a bigger boat with less people but it was a horrible experience to stand on shore and look at a boat full of people getting ready to leave and not knowing what was going on. There was no crew member there to tell us the situation so I was left thinking - "I just paid $260 to stand here, what is going on??!" We finally boarded our boat around 8:30 and we were on our way. The rest of the trip was great. We went to Molokini and the snorkeling was great. The crew members were really good with our 6 year old son. They taught him how to snorkel and were encouraging. The best part of Molokini was when one of the crew members spotted a reef shark and pointed it out to our son. After an hour at Molokini we left for "Turtle Town". The water was a little choppier at this snorkel site but it was doable. We saw turtles! After snorkeling they served lunch - teriyaki chicken, rice, salad, rolls. We then left for the marina. On the way back they put up the sails and sailed back. They also served vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. Nice day!
