“Just perfect!!”

This place totally exceeded my expectations, every tiny detail is taken care of to make your stay perfect. The staff, the decoration, the smell of fresh sheets and soap, the fresh flowers, the soft music during breakfast... I could go on and on...

oh, & after a long day of bart, cable cars, bridge crossing, photoshoots, shopping & usual tourist hecticness around the city, the BEST makeover before heading out again to nearby Valencia n Mission Street at night is THE HOT TUB!!! Try it (especially if its freezing outside!)

Enjoy, u'll make the right choice ;)

“Who Knew Heaven Had Been Relocated”

On my first trip to San Fransisco I stayed on cloud 9! There are not words beautiful enough to describe the pleasure of staying at the Inn. My partner and I were recieved with a homecoming welcome and I have been homesick ever since we had to leave. I am in love with their hot tub, and find myself comparing all others with Marty's and finding them falling far short. The breakfast is beyond compare, I found everything I wanted and left the table feeling content and well nourished, like someone loved me enough to cook all the right things for me. Nothing was spared in the care given us, the staff doted on me and helped me with every question. What an amazement to find Nirvana at a price we could afford!

Thank you, Marty, Fred, Maria, for such a treasured experiance!

“Loved and only stay here when I am in San Francisco . . .”

Inn San Francisco

What more can I say . . . Marty, Fred, et. al. make your stay as comfortable as being in your own home but provide amenities and comforts that are only available in hotels with a 5 star or higher rating. The moment I walk through the door I am instantly greated with a warmth & joy that only this establishment can provide and has done so consistently for almost 10 years.

Having lived in enviable communities for a large portion of my adult life, I am accustomed to the finer comforts of living and travelling. I recently shared The Inn with a friend and her partner and they stayed in the cottage and did not want to leave. It was their first visit and I am sure they will come again and share The Inn with their friends and fellow travellers.

Treat yourself and allow the staff and owners to make them a part of your extended family . . . they have achieved this for me.

The Inn San Francisco is a home away from home and one of the best places to stay while in San Fran. I frequently stay at the Inn because of my situation as a commutor and every time I stay it is a wonderful experience. The owner/inn keeper is the sweetest and kindest person you could ever meet. It has a wonderful decor, beautiful gardens, the breakfast is fabulous. The hotel is very clean and well maitained. The owner is very knowlegable on places of interest and things to do while visiting, he is also very friendly, caring and sincere.

“Fantastic BnB in mediocre SF area”

Inn San Francisco

5 of 5 stars
los angeles,CA

The second we were greeted by Marty we immediately felt home
The BnB is a historic victorian house with spendid SF style vertical facade
The parlor is very nice and luxurious, dark and cozy, with high ceilings
and lots of velours and upholstery to absorb every reflecting sound.
The rooms are beautiful and each is diferent, with ancient Titanic
type furniture and antiques looking like nothing has changed
for over 100 years....When i washed my face i had to pre-mix the
water from the hot tap and the cold tap (made of beautiful shiny
brass) it felt like I was a 1850 pionneer taking a break in a luxury
hotel on my way to the gold rush
The bed was very compfortable and fluffy with duvet underneath
After many stairs I enjoyed the roof where there is a deck with 360deg
helicopter view to see the foggy city
There is also a cute garden equipped with a wooden hot tub but we
have not tried this due to fresh SF temperatures
The breakfast offers a wide variety of foods and drinks, more than
any BnB i've seen so far. In the evening many books are exhibited
near the piano to learn everything about the state, the big
Earthquake or Yosemite

On the negative side the location is not good. Before taking
off with the BART we walked up and down on mission and found
this area to be rather undesirable, a ran down immigrant area
with a lot of 'Mexican welfare recipients', homelesses or transients
reminding Tijuana or Los Angeles. The area become almost scary at night
There are better streets to walk around, like Valencia, with some trendy
bars, but we discovered this at the end (it would have been nice if this
tip was written on the hand annotated map they give)

In conclusion we had a nice stay in SF and this BnB. I recommend
this BnB to anyone
It is a blessing that the 1906 fires did not reach this house
