Overall this hotel is wonderful if you're planning to only stay a few days in Boston. I say this because it is not ideal for long vacations due to the lack of places to eat other than the hotel's restaurant, and no small fridge or microwave. The hotel is connected (Yes, you're free to walk back and forth) to the Boston Logan Airport. You may think that there are places to eat within the airport but they are beyond the security gates unless you're fine with Dunkin Donuts. And despite being next to an airport, it is soundproof with a lovely view of the airport and a piece of Boston.
As mentioned, the hotel is connected to the airport but it is isolated from Boston. However, there are many ways to get into Boston without a car. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service that goes around all of the terminals of the airport and its final destination is a blue T-line that you can take. In addition, there is a Silver line from South Station that you can take to the hotel and vice versa.
The hotel is well designed and is a good attraction itself. The lobby is extremely large and contains many of the hotel's services (restaurant, pool, fitness center, gift shop, etc.). On the second floor is where the walkway from the hotel to the airport is. Also on the second floor is where all of the celebrations and events take place. If there is an event going on, you're going to have to walk through it to get to the walkway.
The rooms are generally clean and presentable. The only problem we had was that there was a bottle cork and a tampon wrapper laying on the floor when we got into our room. Not really disgusting but keep an eye out. The room service then on redeemed itself.
I would recommend this hotel mainly for business professions, individuals catching a flight from Boston Logan and elderly persons. This hotel can be romantic if you get the right side of the hotel that has the view of Boston. Enjoy your time there as it will be completely memorable.
