I stayed here for 4 nights, and ended up in 3 different rooms as a result of being moved due to being able to hear every thing the persons in the next room were saying. There seemed to be a wedding going on and/or some other groups that made the hotel their party destination (strange, considering that its located in a corporate business park environment) so it was more due to my neighbors having five-ten people in their room at a time and socializing versus normal use.

The Marriott staff was awesome and did everything they could to accommodate me. They had the fastest room service I've ever seen and the food was delicious. Aside from the check-in staff, the employees were top notch all the way.

The beds were very comfortable and the room furnishings were up-to-date and clean. Internet worked flawlessly and was quite fast.

The valet was terrible and didn't even leave his little podium to greet me or the gentlemen that pulled up behind me. After a while we both got out, unloaded our own luggage and traipsed over to the valet. He might have wanted us to park our own cars? The parking fee (self-park or valet) at this property is totally unjustified, they have more than enough land and its not as though its any where near downtown or the ocean. Another sad Marriott add-on just like charging for their internet service daily.

Check-in was unreasonably slow considering there were 4 staff members and only 2 other people checking in. The first set of keys that I got didn't work and after lugging 500 lbs of luggage back down to get a set that did work, no one even offered to assist me going back up.

I would definitely stay here again although next time I think I'll try the Marriott in LaJolla instead.

Our team booked a block of rooms together on the same floor for a soccer tournament, six weeks in advance. At arrival, many were told that since the hotel overbooked for the weekend, there were no rooms with double beds left and our option was a room with a king and a rollaway. This was unacceptable, as we all had multiple children staying with us. After over an hour of "discussion" with supervisors, most were placed in rooms, but all on different floors. Forgivable.

Maid service was below average. Received clean towels and beds were made (after 4pm) but trash was not emptied. Also forgivable.

On checkout day, no statement was under my door and when I called, was told that there was "confusion". Went to front desk to see bill, which was calculated incorrectly. Waited while they fixed it. Again, forgivable.

Just checked my credit card statement and was charged twice for different amounts. I called and was told there was a charge for the two nights we stayed under my husband's name and a charge for both nights under my name dated checkout day. That was the last straw that prompted me to write this review.

While the hotel was nice, the service was not. I will stay at Marriott again, but definitely not this one.

I used Priceline hoping to get Marriott near the campus for commencement, but instead, we got this hotel for $120. My BF, who is a frequent traveller, says, "Good deal." Below is what I learned for 8.5 hour stay:

-free Lemonade stand (didn't try, but looked OK) in the lobby
-a coffee maker is provided
-new & clean looking gym with free bottled water; open 24 hr
-nice pool; open till 11ish p.m. (their picture looks bigger than actual)
-nothing complex, but humble, and sophisticated interior
-small, but very comfy bed

I guess our only complaint is the noise of the AC. It was loud to sleep with that on, so we turned it off. I also wonder the reason we got the end room of the floor (the farthest from the elevator) with an ugly view was due to what we paid. My BF said yes, but not much complaint here.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay there, but make sure you get the right price. Oh, did I mention their CA roll for room service is $7.50?

We stayed here while visiting with friends and their new baby. It was a surprisingly lovely hotel. We had a nice room, beautiful view, a nice meal in the hotel and room service was great. It was also quiet which is nice because there were families with kids. We had very easy access to the highways and downtown San Diego. Great weekend getaway spot -- they have a lovely pool and outdoor firepits!
