I chose the Residence Inn based on great reviews in TripAdvisor and in May booked two nights at the end of August. The staff is very nice and the hotel itself, if a little hard to find your way around in, was clean and in good shape.
I confirmed the reservation for their "Kid's Suite" (w/ bunk beds in the second bedroom) and to find out if they had a work-out room four days before we were scheduled to check-in.
The problems started with check-in. The room we were given was not the "Kid's Suite" so no bunks beds. The kid's bedroom room was pretty dismal. One glaring overhead light and the covers were so narrow you couldn't sleep under them. The work-out room looked nice but several of the machines were out of order.
Honestly, it's a nice enough hotel but not worth what we paid for it (even with a discount) as there were constant little annoyances all throughout the stay.
