“Great location, great for families”

We booked this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed! We reserved a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa sleeper for our family of five. The room was nicely decorated, large and spotlessly clean! We called housekeeping as soon as we got to our room to request extra bedding for the sofa bed and this was brought to us within 20 minutes. We also had a great view of the Chrysler building! The hotel is centrally located - in walking distance of Central Park, MOMA, the UN, Dylan's Candy Bar and other attractions! Only downside is that on weekends many breakfast/lunch type restaurants, like Pret A Manger, were closed. The hotel is also close to the subway. The Buttercup Bake Shop is on 2nd Avenue - a 5 minute walk from the hotel and is definitely worth a visit for their delicious red velvet cake! There is a Duane Reed on the same block as the hotel - very convenient for any forgotten toiletries or snacks. All in all, we were extremely happy with our 4 night stay here and would definitely stay here again!

“Reasonably Priced Hotel Away from the Crowds”

Courtyard New York Manhattan/Midtown East

We stayed at this hotel on the final 2 days of a 10-day New England vacation. We wanted something that was walking distance to 5th Avenue, but away from the crowds. This hotel was perfect for that. It is located on 3rd Avenue between 52nd and 53rd Street. This is primarily a business area of Manhattan so the tourist crowds were minimal. Nevertheless it seems as though many others on vacation had found this hotel also. One of the best aspects was the 53rd Street subway station access right outside the door. We used this extensively.

The hotel was very clean and the rooms totally up-to-date. Service as good, but spectacular. Elevators were very fast and had express trips to upper floors. We paid $315 per night for room 2008 with 2 queen beds occupied by my wife and I and our 2 duaghters. We had a spectacular veiw looking south towards the Chrysler building. We found this to be a good price for a quality hotel in the middle of August. I'd recommend the Courtyard Manhattan Midtown East to both business and pleasure travelers to New York City.

“Just as good the second time”

Courtyard New York Manhattan/Midtown East

This is our second stay at this hotel and it lived up to our previous good impressions. While the entrance and lobby may not be as grand as some, this was more than made up by the friendly staff and the excellent rooms.
We particularly liked the fact that we could do our own laundry and the views from the top floor bedrooms are just typical NYC.
We'll go back to this hotel next time!

“Just Perfect! As expected!”

Courtyard New York Manhattan/Midtown East

Well I just came in to continue with the great reviews this hotels has, we where 3 in a double queen room. The room was spacious, the bathroom more of the same, what can I say of the staff super friendly and helpful!!

I loved the free internet, only mark would be there is only 3 pcs available and when kids are there it can be stressful see them go facebook every single time.

We got the ride back to JFK with a limo the hotel provided us with, as I read before here for a ridiculous low price I cant remenber if it was 75$ or 85$ tolls and tips included. Great deal and a nice good bye to NYC.

The situation of the hotel was right on the spot, had a metro station, a duane read just down stairs, McDonald, ESS a bagel...and more. Was just far enough all the rush from times square.

I loved it, i would go back if i had to and would recommend to every one, specially if its a 4 people party, double queens are the best! :D

“Good hotel, good location”

Courtyard New York Manhattan/Midtown East

Atlanta

This hotel is located on 3rd Avenue between 52nd and 53rd. There is a 24 hour drug store downstairs (very convenient) and a subway stop (lines E & V, with access to the 4, 5 & 6 lines) on the corner. I like this location because it is easy to get to the tourist attractions, but you don't feel like you are in the middle of all the crowds. The rooms are a good size by NYC standards and the hotel is clean. The lobby is small and can feel crowded when it is full of people who are checking in/out. Overall, I recommend this hotel.
