I recently had the extraordinary experience of a three day stay at Wildwood Manor. I discovered that there are certain things that a brochure or review cannot capture:
~The magic of walking in and knowing immediately that you'll
never want to leave
~The smell of warm fresh baked cookies
~wamth and graciousness
~enchanting surroundings that words cannot describe
We booked our stay at the Wildwood Manor as a girl's weekend and couldn't have been more delighted. From the moment we arrived when Michael, innkeeper extraordinaire, met us in the driveway, we knew this was going to be a very special experience. The attention to detail is evident everywhere you look. From the color on the walls to the luxurious thread count of the sheets, everything is top notch. We stayed in both the San Juan Room and the Shaw Room and both were perfect. The view of the water from the San Juan Room was phenominal, and while in the Shaw room we were able to look out the window in the evening and gaze upon the deer and their fawn that came up to dine on the dinner that Michael was so gracious to provide. Breakfast was another experience altogether with fresh fruit smoothies and waffles, to an omlette that I still dream about. One of our party was glutin intolerant, and Michael prepared a special breakfast just for her. He has the gift of making each guest feel special... something else a brochure or review cannot quite capture. We arrived as guests, but left as friends. I will never forget our stay there, Michael, the deer, the wonderful breakfasts, the lovely rooms, and the magic that I hope to someday come back to again.
