My friends and I had a small college reunion at this San Juan Island b&b, and we were touched by the wonderful hospitality shown by our hosts, Michael and John. I must say that I slept so well. I surprised myself, as usually I have trouble sleeping the first night in a strange bed. I had difficulty tearing myself away from the comforts of this b&b to play tourist. I don't think I'll add a review of the food served, as everyone else has already done that other than to say that it was immensely pleasurable.

Staying at Wildwood Manor was a lovely, relaxing experience. The sheer quality and attention to detail made it very special. The island itself is a great place to spend a few days but Wildwood Manor itself adds so much to the experience. As other guests have said, the decor and taste are impeccable, Michael and John are wonderful hosts, the rooms and breakfast are lovely, and all the extra touches-being able to help yourself to tea and home-baked biscuits (cookies), sitting in the lovely main room with a book or choosing a DVD-just make it perfect. How clever to really think about what guests want and then to provide it so smoothly. A real treat-I am going back!

Our daughter was married at Wildwood Manor. The wedding was on the lawn. Deer wandered through during the ceremony. The weather was lovely. Afterwards we drank champagne and took photographs against a beautiful backdrop. Michael, our host, was terrific. The family had dinner that night at Duck Soup, which was his suggestion. The restaurant even baked a cake for us. Breakfast the next morning was scrumptious and made even more delightful by the yellow roses on our breakfast tables. We were very comfortable and relaxed. It was the most low stress wedding on the planet.

This was our second time staying at Wildwood. The place feels like a home away from home. Everything was perfect, as usual. Especially loved the delicious breakfasts, large DVD collection, fresh baked cookies and of course, the hospitality. Michael, Thank You you for making us feel welcomed again!
