Montreal is a family-friendly town and there are lots of things to see and do for adults and kids alike. Here are a few suggestions:
First, take the Peel Metro (located near Chez Cora's) green line straight to PIE-IX (station). Visit Olympic Park and take a thrilling cable car ride to the top. If time allows, take a guided tour of the Olympic Stadium. (It takes just under two hours to do all this.)
Another must-see is the Biodome to discover the three ecosystems on display. Higihlights include Mission Antarctica, Nature Under Glass and Nature Missions.
When the sun goes down, head over to St. Denis; there are lots of people, lights and music going on up and down the street – a real fun time for the whole family. Place Jacques-Cartier is also an exciting adventure with its street entertainers and other performances.
Duck into the magnificent Notre-Dame Basilica, a very beautiful structure with lots of history. If you’re lucky, a wedding may be taking place there.
For a relaxing time at the end of a very busy day stop in at the Parc Lafontaine, a favorite green oasis of calm for many locals.
