Sydney has a number of locations providing great views and photographic opportunities of the city & suburbs:

  • AMP Sydney Tower  within the Centrepoint complex in the city centre. It is located between King & Market and Pitt & Castlereagh streets. It is easy to access from the Pitt Street mall at the market street end. Just travel up three ( 3 )  escalators to the Sydney Tower ticket sales booth ( Entry Fee ) or take the elevator / lift.
  • Blues Point / McMahon's Wharf   North Sydney area west of the bridge.
  • Cahill Expressway Circular Quay   Use the glass elevator near ferry wharf_2 on Alfred street to go up one level and walk to the centre of the quay. Information plaques, seating and great photo opportunities 
  • Dover Heights Park   Take bus 380 from bus stand_E at Alfred Street, Circular Quay and ask driver to warn you nearing the park stop. Do not forget your camera and water bottle.
  • Harbour Bridge Southern Pylon   on the Opera House side of bridge.  $9 ? entry fee. Take your camera & water bottle.
  • Kincoppal Private School Bus Stop on New South Head Road. Take a 324 or 325 bus from bus stand_D at Alfred Street Circular Quay. Remember to pack your camera.
  • Luna Park Harbour Foreshore Promenade   Any ferry stopping at the Milsons Point / Luna Park wharf. They will leave from Circular Quay Whart 4 and or 5. 
  • Overseas Passenger Terminal at the Rocks / West Circular Quay.
  • Taronga Zoo Ferry Wharf & Local Area    -     Roadway from ferry wharf up the hill for a few hundred metres. Great views of city skyline.
  • Watsons Bay Lookout Park     on New South Head Road.  Bus 324 or 325 from bus stand_D, Alfred street, Circular Quay.
