Cabs

The best place to catch a cab in Atlantic City is at the Casino itself. You simply walk to one of the main exit and chances are a cab will be waiting for you.

Jitney Buses 

Most travellers take the Jitney Buses which traverse the main street in the city. Jitneys also go to the convention center..but be sure to get on the right one...ask before boarding. The jitney buses charge $2 per trip.

Rental Cars 

Rental cars are a pain in Atlantic City.   It's easier to take cabs & jitneys aournd than to find places to park, and the parking prices on the weekend can go up to $20.

Private Car or Limo Service

If you need to get somewhere outside of Atlantic CIty, a cab can get really expensive. A better alternative is a private car or limosine service. You can find them via the yellow pages and the internet, each offering all kinds of services to fit your needs: airport transfer, bachelor/bachelorette parties and other large groups, etc. Some will even call your hotel room when they arrive to pick you up or will provide back-up cab service when your party splits up at the end of the night.
