Having the majority of the country's population, Mahe Island is where the nightlife action takes place, unless you're a giant tortoise heading in to one of the Seychelles Republic's 115 other islands to reproduce during egg-laying season. Actually, Mahe Island's nightlife is not extensive, as the sun sets early and the island life is not as lively as other places.
Bars & Pubs
You will find that most of Mahe Island's hotels have bars and lounges featuring live bands and opportunities to trip the light fantastic (translated dance), so you won't have to leave the comfort of your hotel if you choose not to. Victoria has a population of about 24,000 people, and has some individually-run nightclubs and bars. Level 3 Bar in the Docklands building in Victoria seems to be where the buzz is on a Friday night. It's a great place where locals mix freely with visitors to the island and stays open until the early hours. Also popular with the locals is Pirates Arm Pub located in Victoria.
Casinos
Mahe Island has three casinos where you can drink and wager or maybe wager your drink. The Berjaya Beau Vallon Beach Resort and Casino, at Mahe Island's Best Western Hotel on the northwest coast, will keep you merry until you lose all your money (or your shirt) on the slot machines. Recently opened third casino is located at the top of Pirate Arms Pub. It is very classy and most impotantly located in the middle of town.

For those who would like to have something a little more exciting, there are three nightclubs on Mahe. If you are looking for open air nightclub, try Katiolo. There is also Lovenut in town Highly recommended . There is Tequila Boom Nightclub. It is also located near to the majority of the hotels in the north of the island.
